Parent and Visitor Information
 
Parents and visitors are always welcomed at Glencliff Elementary School. It is very important for parents and visitors to follow procedures to help us maintain a safe and secure building. We would like to ensure that classroom instructional time is not disrupted. Your cooperation would be greatly appriciated in following school procedures:

1. All persons entering the building must be dressed appropriately with the upper
    torso covered with a shirt or blouse, and the lower body covered, also. Shoes
    should be worn at all times.

2. Be sure to turn down the volume and bass on your radios when you are in the
     front loading zone. Loud music and vibrations disturb the classes.

3. Smoking is not allowed in the school or within 50 feet of any entrance door to
    our building.

4. All visitors must report to the office upon entering the building, sign in and
    receive a badge. Visitors not wearing a badge will be sent back to the office by
    staff members. When leaving the building, visitors should sign out and leave
    the badge in the office.

5. All volunteers must report to the office, sign in, receive a volunteer badge and
    sign out when leaving.

6. Arrival and dismissal time should not be used for conferencing with the teacher.
    Teachers must welcome and supervise students. They must guide
    students to prepare for the day and supervise dismissal procedures.
